The Mingenew Community Resource Centre opened Mingenew Education & Care in 2014 to meet the needs of parents who required daycare services. 

In July 2022 Mingenew Education & Care merged with Regional Early Education and Development (REED) to ensure professional and sustainable early childhood education would continue in our community.
